WORK DESCRIPTION

Like we used to, 2022 is a performance art piece with an anthropological swift. Perek got inspired by the tradition of performance art that existed from the 60s till the 90’s connected to queer movement and a downtown culture of Manhattan, NY, and Amsterdam's queer performance scene from the ’80s till today. How do we listen? How do we translate? How do we think? Once again, tailored to the occasion, she is going to take us on a journey to her global spirited practice. On my death bed, I shall tell you; “Iconic is a craft, not a random outcome”
